First of all it's Isrealis and second, your comment negates the purpose and the objective of this post and what that child gave to the world. Your overgeneralization of the Israelis is disgraceful and you should be ashamed. We are here to talk about peace and to seek ways to better understand one another inorder to discuss the possiblilty of resolving this terrible conflict, yet you already have a pre-conceived barrier against the Israelis that would ultimately undermine the whole concept of Peace. Such blasphemy!
Within the Thalmud and the Torah, acts of kindness and good will are heavily emphasized. Many Jews and Israelis contrbute alot of their time and welfare to the needy and poor. Philanthropy and the sense of humanity does not have borders!
Shame upon those who fail to recognize the global yarning for peace!
May we learn from the kindness of the child and from our flaws from the past and begin to resolve our differences. May peace be granted to us soon!

Well it seems to me that Umm Ibrahim's comments were not "blasphemy" but just simply ignorant...and oh how typical that is these days.
In case you haven't noticed, anti-Semitism, bigotry, double-standards and ignorance are rife amongst our Ummah.
Indeed, we finally manage to scrounge up some good news about Muslims and her conclusion seems to be that nobody amongst the "israilians" [sic] has ever carried out a comparable act of human compassion!
I'll stop here before I go on a long ramble and say what I really think...

I actually agree with umm Ibrahim. I would also like to add that I would rather see those organs given to the hundreds of Palestinian children who are suffering from Israeli bullets instead.
Jewish children are just as inocent as Palestinian children. However, I still think that if your family is hungry, feed them and then start going around feeding other people. Our obligation first and formost lies with the Muslims who are in need. The Jews of Israel have enough money and hospital facilities to secure the health of their population. The Palestinian are no where near the health and hospital global standards.
If it was a political message to the world the father wanted to send, well he failed because this story will never be broadcast on the mainstream media not in a million years.

I was emailed that article.. It was soo heartwarming. I'm working with an NPO that sponsors dialogue between Muslim and Jewish youth and I sent that to the directors of the organization and posted it for the youth to see. SubhanAllah.
